Master Data Office Intern
About The Position
The Master Data Office (MDO) Intern supports cross-functional processes and data compliance by assisting with the definition, coordination, and oversight of master data process improvements across the business. The position is onsite at Dorman Products in Colmar, Pennsylvania, beginning in late May 2027 and continuing for 10 weeks over the summer. The intern will develop familiarity with product data systems and processes, support product information management systems, help improve and document processes, communicate with stakeholders, create data reports, and conduct regular audits to support data integrity and quality. The internship also provides experience with master data governance and quality, business-data analysis, reporting tools, and cross-functional operations involving enterprise systems such as SAP.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program at a college or university in Business Management, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of data analysis and business data analysis.
- Familiarity with managing large volumes of data and ensuring data quality.
- Basic knowledge of reporting packages such as Business Objects and databases such as SQL.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Preference is given to students entering their junior year.
- Knowledge of master data management strategies and best practices.
