About The Position

The Master Data Analyst helps ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical master data across Ball’s core business systems, including ERP and related applications. Working with global stakeholders, the role supports data governance, business processes, and system effectiveness through the creation, maintenance, and optimization of master data. The position is hybrid and based in Colorado, with on-site work required three or more days per work week. Travel and local commuting between Ball and other locations may be required.

Requirements

• College-level education or related work experience in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with JDE and master data management.
• Experience analyzing data and strong Excel skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and work effectively in a virtual environment.
• Knowledge of data governance principles, business process flows, and ERP systems such as JDE or SAP.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Material Master, Vendor, and Customer data.
• Participate in ERP systems, workflow, and data synchronization initiatives.
• Assist end users with root cause analysis and resolution of data issues.
• Analyze downstream impacts of master data changes, including integration points with other data domains and effects on business processes.
• Apply technical knowledge across systems analysis phases and consider application implications for the current and future business environment.
• Develop detailed system design documents that support system requirements and comply with Ball standards.
• Provide day-to-day SAP MDG support to the user community.
• Proactively share ideas, information, knowledge, and data to support collaboration and team, project, or task success.
• Publish periodic global metrics measuring accuracy, processing time, and lead time.
