About The Position

Tire Outlet is a complete automotive repair business offering services ranging from tire and oil changes to air conditioning and tire service. The Master Automotive Technician/ Mechanic diagnoses and repairs customer vehicles effectively and efficiently, following MAP guidelines and dealership, manufacturer, and Tire Outlet Automotive standards. Compensation is up to $45+ flag rate, depending on experience and ASE certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one unexpired ASE certification or equivalent experience or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications and experience.
• Perform work outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order efficiently and accurately.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
• Recommend services needed to keep customers’ vehicles in running condition and document recommendations in customer files.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renew expiring certifications.
