About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Master Technician at Aston Martin & Maserati of Downers Grove. The role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The technician helps build customer loyalty by providing effective diagnosis and repair and communicating technical findings and necessary repairs to non-mechanical individuals. The position is part of a large, growing automotive group with more than 25 vehicle brands and over 50 dealerships across seven states.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Master Technician.
• German or high-line vehicle background.
• Self-starter with a process-driven approach.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
• At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Nice To Haves

• Aston Martin or Maserati experience is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel and ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques through formal training to keep pace with changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
