About The Position

HonorHealth is seeking a Massage Therapist to support its Integrative Medicine Clinic at the Medical Office Building at 8405 N Pima Center Pkwy in Scottsdale, Arizona. The new clinic supports patients seeking improved overall health and wellness, with a focus on nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management. The interdisciplinary team includes providers, medical assistants, registration schedulers, a dietitian, an acupuncturist, a practice manager, and a yoga instructor, with a yoga studio on site. Treatments address concerns including IBS, weight management, insomnia, and women's health disorders.

This is a per diem position with varied hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The Massage Therapist performs body treatments, evaluates clients' massage needs, and recommends therapies. The role requires knowledge of massage principles across the life span and the ability to provide appropriate direct and indirect care. The therapist helps maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere and supports quality service and care for clients, patients, and members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior massage therapy experience required.
• Licensed Massage Therapist credential/license required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Massage Therapist certification or license preferred.
• One to three years of massage therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all services, including body treatments and massages, according to policies and procedures.
• Provide quick and efficient service to clients, patients, members, and fellow employees according to policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to clients and recommend continued treatments; document treatments and plans of care and file appropriate records.
• Assist clients with questions and concerns regarding treatments.
• Operate standard spa equipment safely and follow established policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Set up and prepare rooms for face and body treatments, then clean rooms and equipment after each session.
• Perform inventory responsibilities as requested.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
