About The Position

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is hiring a part-time Massage Therapist at a client site in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The therapist will provide professional massage services to members and guests to support health, wellness, and overall well-being. Services are offered 1–2 times per month, preferably on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, for 4–6 hours per day. The position is commission-based, and the final wage offer depends on factors including location, qualifications, experience, and skill set. The therapist will provide services in both a fitness center spa-like environment and a corporate setting, including on-site chair massage. The role involves incidental travel, setup, and teardown, and requires participation as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team, supporting department-wide events and strategies.

Requirements

Pennsylvania Massage Therapy License.
Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
At least 2 years of massage therapy experience.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
Experience in sports massage techniques.
Good listening and verbal communication skills.
Must meet hiring requirements, including a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Administer professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.
Perform multiple massage modalities and adjust service delivery to meet each customer's needs.
Provide on-site chair massage in a corporate setting, including incidental travel, setup, and teardown.
Learn and provide body treatments, products, and services offered.
Participate as an active member of the integrated health and wellness team and support department-wide events and strategies.
