About The Position

The Mars Snacking Factory Innovation Internship offers exposure to product, process, and packaging development; site manufacturing and engineering teams; compliance functions such as quality and food safety or scientific and regulatory affairs; and sensory. Interns work with a Line Manager who serves as a day-to-day, on-site mentor. The internship is located in Waco, Texas, and is part of a 10–11-week summer program focused on real business problems and opportunities. Candidates should be pursuing a relevant degree and will intern the summer before their final graduation date.

Requirements

Be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or another related engineering discipline.
Intern during the summer prior to the candidate’s final graduation date.
Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future work authorization or visa sponsorship.
Complete drug and background screening successfully as a condition of employment.
Be responsible for personal transportation to and from the work site for the duration of the internship.
Be proactive, curious, passionate, results-driven, eager to learn, and ready to build relationships across the organization.
Have enthusiasm for Mars brands, research, innovation, and the consumer products industry.

Responsibilities
