Avoca•New York, NY
•$165,000 - $185,000•Onsite

About The Position

Avoca is hiring a Marketing Web Designer/Developer to own avoca.ai end-to-end, designing and building the pages, landing experiences, and campaign sites that shape how the company appears online. The role combines visual design and engineering, with responsibility for both Figma work and production code. The position reports directly to the Director of Brand and partners closely with the Creative Director, Creative Producer, Product Marketing, PMM, and Product. The role includes architecting Avoca’s marketing design system and codebase, maintaining parity between Figma and code, and shipping web experiences for product launches, industry conferences, customer stories, and campaigns. The designer will also lead web interaction and motion design, integrate film and motion into site experiences, and own analytics, experimentation, performance, accessibility, and SEO. This person will make technical decisions for the marketing stack, including the CMS, framework, hosting, asset pipeline, and deployment and preview workflow. This is a full-time, in-office role at Avoca’s NYC location. The expected base salary is $165,000–$185,000, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Total compensation includes base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.

Requirements

  • Production experience with Tailwind, Vercel or Netlify, a headless CMS such as Sanity, Contentful, or Storyblok, and modern asset pipelines.
  • Strong Figma fluency, including design system thinking, component variants, auto-layout, and library management.
  • Hands-on interaction and motion design experience using Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie, or similar, with portfolio evidence of craft beyond CSS transitions.
  • Strong understanding of marketing performance, including page speed, Core Web Vitals, A/B testing, basic SEO, accessibility, and conversion design.
  • Ability and comfort owning end-to-end web sprints from Figma to production deployment without intermediate handoffs and running multiple sites in parallel.
  • Willingness to work full-time in-office at the NYC location.
