The Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of events and sponsorship opportunities and support provider marketing initiatives across the Optum New York and New Jersey region. The Specialist is a dynamic and integral member of our marketing team. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including external vendors and organizations, to strengthen our connection with the communities we serve and elevate the awareness of our providers and services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in event management and provider marketing support, who is proactive, well-organized and highly motivated. The Specialist possesses strong communication skills, a passion for their work and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They should excel at seeking new insights, finding creative solutions, and measuring results, while comfortably collaborating and communicating with business partners and vendors to ensure the successful coordination and execution of events. If you are located within a commutable distance to Long Island, Hudson Valley, or North Jersey, you will have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.
