About The Position

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating with Marketing Team colleagues, internal clients and external vendors and agencies to implement innovative campaigns for increasing awareness and utilization of existing and new products/services. Duties include researching target audiences, understanding the competition, creating and overseeing paid media efforts across digital and social media, and reporting on outcomes. The specialist must be an excellent writer and oral communicator, understand evolving communication trends and platforms, and have experience writing content that is optimized for online search results. Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system founded in New Mexico in 1908. It operates nine hospitals, a statewide health plan, and a growing multi-specialty medical group, serving over 580,000 members statewide. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree. Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Business with Marketing emphasis.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or communications required.
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements, including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media, etc., and market research methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.).
  • Well-organized and detail oriented.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools desired.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with internal Marketing Team and marketing clients to identify communication needs and recommend tactics and investment.
  • Liaises with internal and external creative services to execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Plans and executes initiatives to reach a target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.).
  • Assists in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Assists in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.).
  • Manages the accuracy and updates to third party sites such as Google and Provider Directory locations for promotional opportunities, operational information, location data and service descriptions.
