About The Position

As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing team from creative development to implementation. You will also assist in the evaluation of the marketing strategy and plan. In this role, you will contribute to the execution of public relations, events, advertising, marketing collateral, and website development. You will perform basic project management functions such as maintaining production and event calendars and coordinating with vendors and media partners. One of your key responsibilities is to provide general administrative support, including making travel arrangements, event planning and logistical coordination, creating meeting agendas, and taking minutes. In collaboration with compliance officers, you will help ensure all promotional materials meet regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager by assisting in the copywriting, design, printing, and distribution of all sales material as assigned, including statement inserts, branch collateral materials, direct mail, email, presentations, newsletters, banners, booths, promotional items, and websites. You will support the creation and hosting of bank-hosted or sponsored events. You will establish and monitor project timelines to meet deadlines for all collateral production and advertising placements for business development events, tradeshows, and community sponsorships. You will monitor and maintain internal marketing materials inventories and fulfill collateral and promotional item requests. You will maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients and vendors through various communication strategies and vehicles. You will maintain compliance approvals for auditing purposes. You will pull regular reports to assist in assessing metrics met by any given marketing campaign or initiative. You will provide logistical support through planning, scheduling, and coordination for meetings and large, complex activities such as cross-functional events, conferences, department activities, and employee events. You will develop meeting agendas, take and distribute minutes, and track and follow up on action items. General administrative assistance provides backup support for other positions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Entry level knowledge of marketing campaign management across channels and marketing processes including but not limited to creative work, messaging, working with agencies and vendors.
  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Entry level knowledge in marketing program management, Workfront or other project management tools.
  • Entry level proficiency in writing and editing marketing communications.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience with Canva or similar tools a plus.
