About The Position

The Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Director of Marketing, will be an essential role owning marketing initiatives centered on customer engagement, education, and sales goals. This position will assist with strategic marketing activities driving brand visibility, promotion, and lead generation. Day-to-day activities will range from post writing to event planning to marketing funnel activities. Engaging, high-quality authoritative content will be key to expanding Hotstart’s brand with existing and new audiences. A detail-oriented approach, top notch communication skills, and the desire to learn and contribute to the growth of Hotstart are essential to the success of this position.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative yet critical thinker
  • Organized and able to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Some travel may be required in support of in-person events; must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • 2-4 years professional experience; BA/BS Marketing, Communications, English, or comparable degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Content creation including copy writing, ads, social media, video storytelling, infographics, blog articles, presentations and other formats in support of brand voice, sales content, and educational training materials.
  • SEO/AEO/GEO optimization of company website content and campaign landing pages.
  • Support CRM based lead generation campaigns with email content creation and top-of-funnel marketing activities.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on digital advertising campaign management; monitor messaging, metrics, and monthly spending.
  • Tradeshow management - order show services; source logoed giveaway/swag items, attendee hotel reservations and registrations; prepare and ship exhibits to and from events (domestic and international), post-show lead follow up.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to define event goals, messaging, display equipment, graphics, documentation, and promotion.
  • Work with marketing team to develop and produce digital events (AMAs, Lunch and Learns, product demos, webinars) for increased customer engagement.
  • Manage employee apparel storefront with external vendor.
  • Participate in Fun Committee activities fostering employee well-being.
