About The Position

As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you will sit at the intersection of marketing operations and data analysis. You will help translate complex data into actionable insights, proactively identifying business gaps and recommending data-driven solutions. Working heavily within Marketo and Salesforce, (bonus: PowerBI), you will take the lead on developing our automated reporting frameworks while supporting the daily execution and optimization of marketing automation. By monitoring data hygiene and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure everyone has the reliable information they need to make fast, informed decisions that drive pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience working with a Marketo and Salesforce
  • Basic understanding of the lead lifecycle and marketing/sales funnel
  • Solid understanding of data quality best practices, lead routing rules, and how to spot errors in MAP → CRM workflow
  • Familiarity with the B2B buyer journey, demand generation strategies, and standard marketing ROI metrics
  • Excellent ability to share complex data and campaign updates in a clear, straightforward way so other teams know exactly what the numbers mean
  • Data-driven mindset with interest in campaign performance and optimization.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with Marketo and Salesforce preferred
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or Salesforce Reports) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Experience with complex attribution models (multi-touch, weighted), lead lifecycle management, and the marketing-to-sales funnel
  • List enrichment and scrubbing from open public sources as well as leveraging ZoomInfo to build and refine audience segments with accurate, up-to-date firmographic and contact data.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and own automated dashboards and reports using PowerBI, Salesforce, and Marketo to clearly communicate campaign results and marketing’s overall impact on the pipeline.
  • Analyze marketing data to spot trends and business gaps, working independently to troubleshoot issues and recommend actionable solutions to the wider team.
  • Monitor daily lead flow to quickly identify, flag, and troubleshoot sync errors or data discrepancies between Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Follow established data quality best practices to ensure accurate lead routing, precise audience segmentation, and highly reliable reporting outputs.
  • Work alongside marketing and sales teams to provide regular campaign updates, share data insights, and support initiatives that span multiple departments.
  • Support campaign execution, assisting the DemandGen team in analyzing performance to optimize workflows, improve conversion rates, and meet demand generation goals.
  • Assist in implementing lead scoring, routing, and segmentation strategies.
  • Implement and manage attribution models to help the team understand which channels (Organic, Paid, Social, etc…) are driving the highest ROI.
