About The Position

At AlertMedia, we help organizations protect their people, operations, and brand. Our modern Risk Intelligence and Response platform empowers teams to detect emerging threats, assess impact, and respond with confidence. We believe building resilience should be simpler—and it starts with bringing critical information and workflows together in one unified platform. We're looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to help build, execute, and continuously improve the campaigns that power AlertMedia's marketing engine. You'll work hands-on in Marketo and Salesforce to launch email and nurture programs, keep our CRM and marketing automation systems clean and connected, and partner with enrichment and workflow tools like Clay and Wrike to bring more automation and consistency to how the team operates. This role suits someone who is equal parts builder and troubleshooter: comfortable in the technical weeds of a platform, but just as comfortable explaining a deliverability issue or a tracking gap to a non-technical stakeholder.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing operations, campaign management, demand generation, or email marketing role, ideally at a B2B technology company.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Marketo.
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho or other CRM platforms to build emails, forms, lists, workflows, smart campaigns, and dynamic content.
  • Strong attention to detail and a QA mindset — you catch broken links, mis-segmented sends, and tracking gaps before they go live.
  • Experience with audience segmentation, list hygiene, and email deliverability at scale.
  • Solid organizational and project -management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product marketing, and event teams to keep multi-stakeholder programs on track, often on tight cycles.
  • Reporting and analytics literacy — comfortable pulling campaign metrics and translating them into clear, actionable summaries.
  • Self-starter who can own recurring operational work independently and reliably from start to finish.
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (oral and written).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with enrichment, data, or account-based marketing tooling (such as Clay) and analytics tools.
  • HTML/CSS skills for troubleshooting email.
  • Experience supporting a high-volume and fast-paced marketing team.
  • An affinity for learning complex, highly technical products and strong technical aptitude, generally.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and email compliance requirements.
  • Experience with LLMs and a point of view on how AI can up-level day-to-day operational work.

Responsibilities

  • Own the email process, through QA and delivery, working directly with content, creative, events, lifecycle, customer marketing, product marketing and demand generation to build branded emails that are sent with the highest quality and efficacy.
  • Build, QA, deploy, and optimize email campaigns end to end in Marketo, including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, deliverability checks, and scheduling.
  • Work collaboratively with email stakeholders to QA every send using Litmus and AlertMedia's email build standards (link accuracy, UTM parameters, tracking, and rendering) before it goes live.
  • Build and maintain campaign infrastructure, including workflows, templates, and smart campaigns, to enable scale and consistency across marketing.
  • Create, maintain, and audit sales email sequences in Outreach.
  • Serve as project manager driving alignment and approvals with key stakeholder for all email campaigns
  • Manage ongoing operational tasks across Marketo and Salesforce, including list management, lead routing support, form and workflow maintenance, and data hygiene.
  • Maintain data quality on form fields (validation rules, required fields, duplicate handling) to protect lead database integrity.
  • Partner with web and development teams to troubleshoot tracking discrepancies between Marketo tracking and form submission data.
  • Regularly audit and optimize data flow between Marketo programs and Salesforce campaigns, ensuring campaign member status mapping is accurate.
  • Maintain naming conventions and folder structures for Marketo programs to support scalable reporting across marketing.
  • Coordinate webinar logistics across marketing and other departments, including registration setup, reminder and follow-up sequences, platform configuration, and post-event lead handoff.
  • Build and maintain Marketo programs (webinars, in-person events, virtual conferences) using standardized program templates to ensure consistent tracking across all event types.
  • Ensure Salesforce campaigns are set up correctly, so funnel tracking and attribution are correct.
  • Set up and QA registration and confirmation emails, calendar invites, and reminder or follow-up sends tied to event and webinar programs.
  • Ensure program success flags and channel and program tagging align with attribution models for accurate marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced reporting.
  • Pull and maintain reporting on email and nurture campaign performance (opens, clicks, conversions, pipeline influence), surfacing insights, flagging anomalies, and communicating deliverability and list-quality issues clearly to non-analytical stakeholders.
  • Use those insights to inform A/B testing and continuous optimization of engagement, conversion, and ROI working in close collaboration with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager.
  • Build and maintain repeatable processes and documentation so campaigns launch consistently, and the team can scale execution without sacrificing quality.
  • Own end-to-end execution of global campaigns, ensuring scalable, repeatable program delivery across email, paid search, webinars, events, and account-based marketing.
  • Coordinate email localization efforts with EMEA reviewers as well.
  • Pilot AI-aware patterns and automation (for example, prompt-driven builds) within the email workflow, and partner with GTM Engineering to replace manual steps.
  • Support enrichment workflows in Clay to improve data quality and routing accuracy.
  • Understand and monitor compliance and database hygiene tasks including GDPR, opt-in management, unsubscribes, and invalid or suspended records.
