About The Position

Since 1869, St. Vincent de Paul - Cincinnati has supported and transformed the lives of our neighbors throughout Greater Cincinnati by providing innovative, practical assistance to those in need. Our work spans direct services, charitable pharmacy, thrift stores, community partnerships, fundraising, volunteer engagement, and more. We are seeking a collaborative, highly organized, and creative marketing professional to join our Office of Mission Advancement as Marketing Operations & Media Production Manager. This role will help turn SVDP’s marketing strategy into well-executed campaigns, communications, and media opportunities that advance our mission and engage the Greater Cincinnati community. The Marketing Operations & Media Production Manager is the operational engine behind SVDP’s planned marketing work. Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications, this position takes strategic direction and turns it into clear campaign plans, timelines, content and deliverables. The role coordinates work across SVDP’s Marketing & Communications team and other departments, manages production for paid and partner media, and keeps recurring marketing initiatives moving from idea through execution. This role goes beyond project management. The ideal candidate is also a strong writer, creative thinker, and hands-on marketer who can develop campaign ideas, recommend approaches, and create promotional content. This person should be equally comfortable brainstorming a television segment, drafting a radio script, building a campaign timeline, coordinating an interview, managing an advertising deadline, and making sure the right teammate has the right information at the right time.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, campaign management, media production, project management or a related field; nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Strong marketing writing and editing skills, with demonstrated ability to write promotional copy, scripts, emails, talking points and campaign materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to take strategic direction and independently move a marketing campaign from concept through execution.
  • Strong creative instincts and enthusiasm for brainstorming, developing, and recommending new marketing ideas.
  • Exceptional organizational, project-management, and deadline-management skills.
  • Experience coordinating media outlets, vendors, production partners, or other external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous campaigns and deliverables without losing attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to coordinate work across departments without direct supervisory authority.
  • Comfort working with budgets, invoices, spreadsheets, reporting, and project-tracking tools.
  • Sound judgment and ability to recognize when work can move forward independently and when a decision should be escalated.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; experience with project-management or workflow tools preferred.
  • Availability for occasional evenings and weekends related to interviews, segments, launches or events.

Responsibilities

  • Turn strategic direction into clear, actionable plans for seasonal campaigns, media flights, store promotions, events, drives, recurring partnerships, and other planned marketing initiatives.

  • Coordinate production for radio, television, print, and digital advertising after media strategy and contracts are established by the Director.
  • Manage briefs, scripts and copy, specifications, revisions, approvals, artwork routing, trafficking, submissions, and placement follow-through.
  • Develop and recommend concepts for partner-produced television and radio features, and coordinate producers, interviewees, schedules, locations, talking points, supporting assets, and other production logistics.
  • Manage the production workflow for recurring communications, such as annual and mid-year reports, spring and fall newsletters, holiday pieces, and direct-mail projects, coordinating timelines, inputs, reviews, and production while Marketing teammates retain editorial and creative ownership.
  • Coordinate routine media logistics, including release distribution, interview scheduling, spokesperson preparation, and supporting materials.
  • Track earned-media coverage and maintain related reporting.
  • Develop clear briefs and coordinate handoffs among SVDP’s Storytelling, Creative, and Digital Marketing functions so team members have complete information, realistic deadlines, and clear expectations.
  • Serve as a coordination point for Marketing requests from other departments, routing work to the appropriate team member, supporting established communications standards and workflows, and escalating sensitive or high-priority needs to the Director.
  • Manage routine Marketing financial administration, including invoices, credit card reconciliation, vendor documentation, spend tracking, and monthly budget-pacing preparation.
  • Provide logistical and production support for Director-led major video projects and other special initiatives, including scheduling, locations, releases and permissions, participant communication, and production coordination.
  • Consolidate campaign and channel results, prepare campaign recaps, and identify lessons or recommendations that can improve future marketing efforts.
