About The Position

The Marketing Media Manager is a core member of the Media Operations & Partnerships team, helping steward a $2B enterprise media investment portfolio across all lines of business. This role sits at the center of media financial operations, driving budget governance, operational excellence, and data integrity across highly visible deliverables that inform senior leadership and guide media investment decisions. Partnering closely with the broader media team, in-house activation team, media enablement team, our agency, and Finance team, this position ensures accurate budget management, spend tracking, streamlined processes, and reliable reporting that underpin the effectiveness of the Media team. The ideal candidate excels at juggling multiple detail-oriented priorities, proactively navigates ambiguity with a solutions-oriented mindset, and has a passion for reimagining how work gets done. This individual embraces AI and automation as part of their everyday toolkit, bringing experience applying AI and automation to improve efficiency, enhance data quality, and streamline business processes. They are naturally curious, continuously seeking opportunities to simplify workflows, challenge manual ways of working, and thoughtfully apply AI-enabled capabilities to improve day-to-day operations. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, collaboration, and communication to manage the constantly evolving landscape of media investments while helping evolve how our team operates. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

Requirements

  • Quality Assurance & Attention to Detail: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data and key deliverables

  • Microsoft Excel & Data Analysis: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including managing large datasets, building complex formulas, analyzing financial data, and creating clear visualizations
  • Media Planning Knowledge: Working knowledge of paid media channels and planning principles to effectively interpret and manage media investment data
  • Adaptability & Continuous Improvement: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, effectively managing changing priorities while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
  • Organization & Documentation Management: Maintains organized, accessible, and up-to-date documentation, ensuring knowledge is easily shared and processes remain sustainable
  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent. Acceptable areas of study include Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 4 years in Media management experience in consumer products; agency media planning preferred
  • Experience with budget management and/or tracking preferred
  • Experience dealing with large-scale, multi-dimensional reporting preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Own enterprise-wide budget tracking for a $2B media investment portfolio, ensuring financial accuracy, comprehensive documentation, and alignment with Finance partners
  • Support the weekly Flowchart creation, ensuring accurate spend compilation and safeguarding the integrity of the inputs used in the Media Mix Model and executive reporting while partnering to advance automation of the process
  • Partner with the Media Enablement team to modernize financial workflows by identifying opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions, transforming manual spreadsheet-based workflows into scalable, system-driven processes
  • Manage end-to-end creation and coordination of media Purchase Orders (PO), ensuring accurate documentation, stakeholder communication, and timely submission and approvals
  • Lead end-to-end management of reclass funding and firm/flexible spend reporting, driving financial clarity on alternative funding sources and enabling agile investment strategies
  • Lead or support cross-functional initiatives, special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
  • Ensure quality assurance across media financial operations, maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of key deliverables
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
