Exactera is an AI-enabled tax services platform that manages corporate tax risk across international tax, specialty tax incentives, and indirect tax through planning, strategy, compliance, and resolution. This role is a hybrid role that is based out of our San Diego or Tarrytown, NY offices, reporting to the CRO. The Opportunity We are looking for a Marketing Manager who is some parts strategist and most parts doer… hungry to build, ship, and grow into a leadership role. You will be the engine behind our content strategy, GEO/AEO roadmap, and brand presence across every channel and touchpoint. You will report directly to the CRO and work cross-functionally with our GTM team, Revenue Optimization function, and SMEs across our business units.

Requirements

  • 5 years of marketing experience with a strong lean toward content strategy and creation; B2B professional services or SaaS background in Finance function preferred
  • A doer who ships first and optimizes second, with the organizational discipline to manage a content engine and the ambition to grow into a Director-level leader
  • AI-adept and already using tools daily: our stack includes Claude, Lovable, n8n, and Gamma; if you have a must-have tool not on the list, we will buy the license
  • Hands-on experience managing CMS platforms and producing or overseeing marketing collateral and design output
  • A strong writer who can translate complex tax and finance topics into compelling, audience-focused content

Responsibilities

  • Drive a consistent, high-cadence content strategy: owning the editorial calendar, partnering with SMEs across our international tax, incentives, and indirect tax business units and producing a balanced mix of evergreen thought leadership and timely, campaign-mapped content
  • Own Exactera's GEO and AEO strategy and execution in partnership with our external service partner, positioning us ahead of the curve for AI-powered search by end of year
  • Manage and partner with a Marketing Coordinator to help execute on our various systems including CMS, webinar platform, socials
  • Lead the design and production of internal and external collateral: sales one-pagers, decks, campaign assets, and event materials… maintaining brand consistency across every output
  • Partner with the GTM team on campaign and product launch execution, and serve as a thought partner to the CRO on messaging and market positioning
