About The Position

  • Translate strategies into actionable marketing initiatives; develop creative briefs and project roadmaps; manage task lists and timelines to guide content, design, and channel strategy.
  • Execute marketing campaigns across paid media, web, and social channels, engaging cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, writers, designers, and vendor partners as needed, to deliver campaigns from conception through execution and evaluation.
  • Monitor plan execution, timelines, and budgets, proactively addressing risks or barriers to success to ensure follow through.
  • Oversee performance tracking, working closely with vendor partners when applicable.
  • Use performance metrics and analytics to inform data-driven recommendations and continuous improvement.

  • Interact with faculty, staff, and students to cultivate story ideas aligned with audience insights and strategic areas of expertise.
  • Monitor relevant regional and national trends; develop a deep understanding of the health sciences sector and audiences; identify and develop newsworthy content and support the MarCom PR team on media placement opportunities and timely stories for amplification through owned channels.
  • Collaborate closely with unit and admission partners throughout the prospective student journey to optimize marketing and communication channels at each phase.
  • Provide strategic counsel to campus partners and University leadership, grounded in higher education marketing trends and data insights.
