About The Position

Marine Money is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and execute a portfolio-wide marketing strategy that unifies their global brand across 14 conferences, digital membership, and magazine. This role requires a hands-on executor who can write copy, deploy multi-channel campaigns, manage the CRM, and maintain websites. The Marketing Manager will build integrated marketing plans and a comprehensive calendar in collaboration with event teams, balancing individual event needs with the broader brand story. This position also involves managing and developing one direct report (Event Coordinator) and coordinating with internal teams (Web, Data Analytics, Central Marketing, Operations) to enhance campaign effectiveness and maintain alignment. Additionally, the role includes building and managing relationships with media partners, industry associations, and vendors to increase visibility within the global marine finance community. The Marketing Manager will monitor KPIs, market data, and budget performance to refine strategy and report on results, while remaining agile to adapt plans mid-cycle.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in direct marketing strategy and execution.
  • Background in B2B event marketing, conference marketing, or financial/professional services strongly preferred.
  • Copywriting and editing skills.
  • Hands-on proficiency with email campaign deployment, CRM management, audience segmentation, and registration platforms.
  • Comfortable with marketing automation systems, GA4, Canva or Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Website content management experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with membership or subscription-based marketing is a plus.
  • Basic HTML knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a portfolio-wide marketing strategy that presents Marine Money as a unified global brand across all 14 conferences, the digital membership, and the magazine.
  • Execute marketing campaigns including writing copy, deploying multi-channel campaigns (email, social, digital ads, direct mail, partner channels), managing the CRM, and keeping websites up to date.
  • Build integrated marketing plans and a comprehensive calendar in collaboration with conference event teams.
  • Manage and develop one direct report (Event Coordinator), providing direction, feedback, and support for their growth.
  • Coordinate with internal teams—Web, Data Analytics, Central Marketing, Operations—to amplify campaign effectiveness and maintain alignment.
  • Build and manage relationships with media partners, industry associations, and vendors to drive visibility within the global marine finance community.
  • Monitor KPIs, market data, and budget performance to continuously refine strategy and report on results.
  • Stay agile and pivot/rebuild plans mid-cycle without losing momentum or quality.
