We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Marketing Manager in our Regional Office located in Southfield, MI! The Marketing Manager is part of the regional team responsible for the operations, sales and management of Lightstone’s residential portfolio, consisting of over 15,000 units, located in 11 different states. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, this position supports the development and execution of marketing initiatives across the residential portfolio with a strong focus on social media, content creation, and online reputation management. This role plays a key part in increasing resident engagement and retention, and supporting on-site teams through creative campaigns, content, and events. Working closely with internal teams and vendors, the Marketing Manager helps ensure a consistent and engaging brand presence across all platforms while driving meaningful connections within our communities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, preferably within the residential real estate industry
  • Proven market analysis skills
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with company representation and exposure by way of Social Media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Professional event planning experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation of marketing collateral for all maintenance leasing buildings. (this includes signage, photography, printing needs, leasing office displays, website, etc.)
  • Assist with the development, implementation and managing of innovative ideas to drive resident engagement, resident retention, and grow external communities.
  • Daily engagement and management of all tickets submitted to the Marketing Helpdesk.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of a benchmarking and measurement program to gauge the effectiveness of social media programs and key initiatives.
  • Coordinating the delivery of content, stories, information and our brand message into the social media space.
  • Monitor and manage our online reputation, as well as the execution of monthly Reputation reporting per Regional portfolio.
  • Provide, on a monthly basis, reporting pertaining to Shop reports and scores, per property, of the entire portfolio.
  • Providing graphics support for digital and print media, either directly creating materials or coordinating outsourced graphics support when needed.
  • Develop, communicate, and schedule a quarterly community “Visit Calendar” confirming dates of content creation taking place with on-site team members.
  • Research and execute Social Media trends within our designated platforms.
  • Manage all event needs from branding, agenda design, content creation, and venue selection to event execution for properties outside the NYC portfolio.
  • Conduct assessments with residents to determine which activities they are interested in pursuing.
  • Summarize information obtained from resident assessments and interest profiles to determine which activities are of interest to the greatest number of residents.
  • Plan events and activities around residents’ interest.
  • Lead creation of event communications and promotions to drive meaningful attendance: Mass email distributions, Develop and distribute monthly activity schedules and flyers, and post in common areas for easy reference.
  • Develop and distribute a newsletter on a regular basis for residents.
  • Maintain and update information pertinent to the social/activity program including community resources, entertainment, guest speakers and volunteers.
  • Identify and implement effective processes and procedures to ensure smooth and professional events.
  • Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.
  • Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed and when requested.
