About The Position

Stephens Law is seeking a data-driven Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing execution and performance for their boutique trial firm. The firm specializes in catastrophic trucking accidents, wrongful death, and serious injury cases. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for bringing together fragmented marketing efforts, creating accountability across vendors and channels, and providing clear insights into marketing performance. This role involves managing outside vendors, tracking performance metrics, optimizing marketing ROI, building an attorney referral pipeline, supporting the founder's personal brand, increasing visibility for community involvement, and leveraging AI for marketing operations. The position reports directly to the Founder, who sets the overall marketing strategy and tone.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of marketing experience, including meaningful experience managing outside vendors or agencies and holding partners accountable for performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently in CRM or lead-tracking platforms and build clear, reliable reports that leadership can use to make decisions.
  • Ability to quickly master the firm's Lead Docket CRM and use it to track marketing sources, intake performance, signed cases, referrals, and marketing ROI.
  • Demonstrated experience actively using AI in day-to-day marketing work, with the ability to provide concrete examples of how you have used it to improve content, analysis, reporting, or workflows.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple marketing partners, evaluate their performance, and ensure deadlines, deliverables, and results are consistently met.
  • Organized, direct, and low-ego, with the ability to take strategic direction from leadership and independently own execution, follow-through, and results.
  • Comfortable working closely with the Founder, Office Manager, intake team, and external marketing partners, including partnering with the Office Manager on budgets and the intake team on performance data.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Lead Docket experience is a plus.
  • Legal or personal injury marketing experience is a strong plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the firm's digital and print marketing vendors, holding outside partners accountable to deliverables, deadlines, performance, and results.
  • Own weekly and monthly marketing scorecards, tracking inquiries, signed cases, cases the firm wanted but did not sign, referrals, marketing sources, and cost per signed case by channel.
  • Analyze performance data to identify where marketing dollars are generating results, flag underperforming channels, and recommend where spending should be reduced, reallocated, or increased.
  • Build and manage systems that keep Stephens Law top of mind with referring attorneys across Texas and support measurable growth in lawyer referral sources.
  • Support the development of Jason Stephens's personal brand through content, speaking opportunities, media, thought leadership, and management of select personal social media initiatives.
  • Increase visibility for the firm's community involvement and the work of the Stephens Family Foundation.
  • Use AI regularly for content creation, competitor analysis, reporting, and workflow optimization while continuously identifying new ways AI can strengthen the firm's marketing operations.
  • Translate the Founder's strategy and direction into consistent execution, taking ownership of implementation while using performance data to demonstrate what is, and is not, working.

Benefits

  • Discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
  • 100% health insurance coverage for the employee.
  • 401(k) benefits to support long-term financial planning.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO).
