About The Position

Whippy is seeking a Marketing Manager to build and own the marketing machine that distributes our AI-native platform for business communication. This role is responsible for taking existing successful marketing motions, building scalable systems around them, and driving a pipeline number. The platform includes AI Voice Agents, AI Recruiting, messaging, VoIP, deep integrations, and a workflow engine, with a strong leadership position in the staffing and HR verticals. Whippy is bootstrapped, profitable, and has proven customer success stories, but lacks a dedicated marketing function to distribute this success. The Marketing Manager will be hands-on, leveraging AI for efficiency while focusing on tangible pipeline generation.

  • Ability to provide named case studies that were personally approved and explain the process of getting customer buy-in.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, including lifecycle stages, campaigns, and attribution.
  • Experience running a webinar or event to pipeline motion.
  • Strong written communication skills, able to produce clear and concise drafts quickly.
  • Experience managing at least one person or agency and improving their work.
  • Sales or SDR background is a bonus.

  • Develop and execute enablement materials for sales reps (battlecards, ROI calculators, product one-pagers) and partners (enablement kits).
  • Own lifecycle marketing, retargeting, and the marketing aspects of HubSpot, including audience segmentation, sequence building, new product announcements, and retargeting programs.
  • Manage the marketing side of HubSpot, including lifecycle stages, campaign tracking, and attribution from first visit to close, in collaboration with sales and web ops.
  • Manage event promotion, registration, partner co-promotion, follow-up sequences, and content extraction for webinars.
  • Oversee the end-to-end trade show process, including pre-show booking, booth and collateral management, and post-show follow-up.
  • Manage high-touch motions like customer dinners and executive touches for enterprise deals.
  • Manage the content marketer, setting editorial priorities against the messaging document, and elevating the blog and SEO function.
  • Test and implement paid acquisition on LinkedIn and search, website conversion optimization, review site presence, AI search optimization, and comparison pages.
