About The Position

Council & Associates is a rapidly growing PI firm in Atlanta, specializing in serious injury cases such as truck accidents, premises liability, daycare injuries, negligent security, and wrongful death. The firm is led by a nationally recognized trial attorney and has a strong community presence. We are seeking an energetic Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies, manage the marketing budget, oversee external vendors (SEO, PPC, media buying, PR, web, social), and drive lead generation. This role requires a proactive individual who is accountable for hitting monthly targets and is motivated by tangible results. The ideal candidate will work closely with firm leadership, intake, and business development teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of both strategy and execution.
  • Hands-on SEO experience: you can evaluate an SEO vendor, spot problems in a report, and know when to push back.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating content directly — not just overseeing someone else who does.
  • Proven track record managing digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LSAs, paid social).
  • Comfort with analytics: Google Analytics, Search Console, CRM dashboards, call tracking.
  • Strong project management and communication skills; you can manage multiple vendors and priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in personal injury, legal services, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience with CRMs and intake platforms (e.g., Filevine, Clio, Lawmatics).
  • Experience with content management systems (WordPress or similar).
  • Familiarity with AI content tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and comfort using them to scale content production efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the firm’s growth goals.
  • Bring the firm’s brand to life consistently across every channel — from social posts to paid ads to landing pages.
  • Manage the firm’s marketing budget and allocate spend for maximum ROI across channels.
  • Own relationships with external vendors and agencies — SEO, PPC, media buying, PR, web, and social — holding them accountable to performance benchmarks.
  • Provide weekly reporting on leads, conversions, cost-per-case, and campaign effectiveness to firm leadership.
  • Own the firm’s lead and new matter goals — accountable for hitting monthly targets.
  • Lead SEO strategy with strong emphasis on local search across Georgia markets.
  • Drive content creation across blog posts, social media updates, case spotlights, and community content.
  • Own the firm’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, YouTube).
  • Develop and manage content calendars; keep the brand voice sharp and consistent across every output.
  • Plan, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Social Media, Google Ads, Local Service Ads, and paid social.
  • Oversee website content and conversion rate optimization.
  • Track and improve intake and lead-tracking systems — CRM, call tracking, form submissions.
  • Review marketing content for accuracy, required disclaimers, and ethical compliance.
  • Stay current on changes to Georgia legal advertising rules and flag issues proactively.
