About The Position

The Shaw Group is looking to add an energetic and motivated individual to join Shaw Manufacturing Team as Marketing Manager. Supporting Shaw Brick, Shaw Renewables, and Shaw Resources, the Marketing Manager will help strengthen the Shaw brand and drive demand across our dealer network, commercial sales team, and Shaw retail centre locations. Reporting to the VP Sales and based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, the successful candidate will translate business priorities into clear, consistent, and compelling marketing programs, content, and sales tools that support both sell-in and sell-through.

Requirements

Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Five or more years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within building materials, manufacturing, construction, or a dealer/distribution environment
Hands-on experience with digital marketing, social media, website management, and content creation
Experience producing sales and technical materials such as brochures, sell sheets, catalogues, presentations, and data sheets
Experience supporting multiple sales channels, including dealer, commercial, and/or retail channels, would be considered an asset
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple divisions, channels, deadlines, and stakeholders
Proficiency with marketing and design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems, social scheduling platforms, and analytics tools, would be considered an asset
Strong written, visual, interpersonal, and communication skills
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with sales teams, leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners
Strong attention to detail, brand stewardship, and comfort using performance data to support decisions
A self-starting, hands-on approach with the ability to move from strategy to execution

Responsibilities

Supporting and managing social media across all three divisions, including developing content calendars, creating and scheduling posts, engaging audiences, and reporting on performance
Managing digital content across channels to maintain brand consistency and a steady pipeline of fresh, relevant material
Managing divisional websites by keeping product information, imagery, and content current and coordinating updates, improvements, and search engine optimization with internal stakeholders and web partners
Developing and maintaining brochures, sell sheets, presentations, point-of-sale assets, and other selling materials for the dealer channel, commercial sales team, and retail centre locations
Managing the creation and maintenance of technical data sheets to ensure product specifications and documentation are accurate, current, and readily available
Coordinating the development, updating, and distribution of product catalogues across the divisions
Providing marketing support for dealer trade activation through programs, assets, merchandising tools, flyer content, imagery, pricing layouts, and co-operative advertising
Supporting the commercial sales team with tailored materials, campaigns, and content for commercial and project-based customers
Supporting Shaw retail centre locations with in-store marketing, signage, merchandising, and promotional materials
Planning and executing trade shows and events, including booth materials, product displays, signage, and promotional collateral
Maintaining consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all three divisions and sales channels
Managing relationships with external agencies, designers, printers, web partners, and other vendors
Tracking and reporting on marketing activity and effectiveness and using performance insights to refine future efforts
