About The Position

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and management of marketing strategies and community relations. This role is an integral part of CSM Corporation who will work alongside the Director of Marketing on all marketing efforts for Hotel Lodging, and some for Corporate. The role will own the development and unique brand messaging for assigned properties and ensure brand continuity across multiple platforms including website, advertising, social media, and email marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred; however, equivalent experience/background accepted.
  • Hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be highly organized and proactive, detail and solution-oriented with strong communication (written and verbal) with proven presentation skills.
  • Exceptional writing skills and creative thinking is necessary with attention to detail and follow up.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks is critical.
  • Desire to work along colleagues who greatly value and sometimes challenge your input is essential.
  • Skilled in problem analysis, problem solving and decision-making.
  • Process oriented – able to see from start-to-finish and all the steps in between.
  • Solid skills selling and negotiating programs/projects.
  • Above average Excel knowledge; extremely comfortable compiling and manipulating data.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward project completion.
  • Overall strong project management experience.
  • Knowledge of or interest in working with programs such as ClickUp, Canva, Google AdWords and Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising and email marketing to leverage online presence, working to cement metrics/analysis process, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work side by side with the Marketing Director to manage all aspects of marketing for the entire organization.
  • Involvement/ability to execute digital marketing calendars that focus on improving web direct performance through initiatives focused on, but not limited to SEO, AEO, SEM, content and Email Marketing as well as paid search (PPC) efforts while continuously utilizing optimization techniques to drive ROI.
  • Analyze reporting from brand websites and utilize industry data efficiently to provide recommendations and drive future strategy.
  • Takes initiative to research cutting edge technology that helps strengthen the CSM brands.
  • In consistent communication with advertising partners to review contracts, pricing and performance. Recommends changes when necessary.
  • Position requires interaction with Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations to ensure website, social media, collateral, and other communications accurately reflect property brand.
  • Spearhead the brand identity for hotels & corporate.
  • Drive revenues and improve profits through innovative promotions.
  • Work with teams to coordinate photo shoots.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing projects.
  • Serving as a communication conduit and counsel for all marketing programs, with both internal stakeholders and external Hotels.
  • Manage optimization and analysis of Hotel brand or vanity websites, Search Engine (SEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Social Media profiles/pages, online directories, local search, and GPS navigation.
  • Develop and manage marketing tools and resources aligned to support sales teams, segment and line of business priorities.
  • Analyze marketing opportunities and advertising effectiveness while working closely with Sales Directors at hotel properties.
  • Manage all online content, including but not limited to marketing, promotional offerings, photographs, videos, text, Meta tags, title tags, custom web pages, enhanced landing pages, menus, etc.
  • Conduct analysis of customer research, current market conditions and recommendations in order to maximize market share.
  • Oversees/works with hotels on their Social Media Accounts & Online Reputation Management.
  • Works closely with vendors and agencies on changing needs including PR vendors and press releases.
  • Reporting - Analyze and compose various e-commerce channels and hotel performance on the channels via a comprehensive snapshot.
  • Create/maintain and report ROI on participating hotel paid search campaigns on monthly basis.
  • Coordinate Email Blasts/Email Marketing campaigns to drive revenues. Includes conversion rates, natural search results, eTools, OTA revenue etc.
  • Identify new sources of revenues, including Transient, Group or Catering prospecting through branded tools for solicitation efforts including email blasts or brand specific channels/tools.
  • Attend revenue strategy meetings with hotels and partners to assist with the full RevGen strategy, providing ideas and execution during and after the meetings.
  • Works with internal partners to define marketing plan scope and objectives.
  • Promotes Corporate business, trends and strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Overall Corporate Marketing strategy alignment with leadership team working alongside Lodging leaders.
