This individual has experience in the architecture industry and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in producing professional marketing materials under deadlines. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, advertising, communications, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include writing copy, public speaking and presentations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Three + years of experience in Architecture marketing
  • Experience preparing and coordinating RFQ/RFP responses
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, PDF editing software's or other similar design software
  • Ability to work independently on assignments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with AEC industry terminology and project delivery methods
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, or possess a work visa to legally work in the US

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate responses to RFQs/RFPs, including resumes, project sheets, and proposal layout
  • Gathers the materials necessary to understand the project and competition in the area such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; analyze materials to determine the most effective communications technique.
  • Coordinate the exchange of qualifications with subconsultants, partners, staff, and leadership.
  • Collaborates with clients, editorial staff, managers, and other project participants to understand project assignment, audience and intended messaging
  • Format and produce high-quality marketing materials using Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and Bluebeam
  • Support development of pursuit strategies and review materials
  • Maintain and update marketing collateral, including resumes, project sheets, and photography
  • Research potential clients, pursuits, and market opportunities
  • Provide marketing support for business development initiatives as needed
  • Maintain and update the firm's website and social media
  • Based on assessment, drafts, and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia
  • Develop content aligned with firm brand and ensure consistency across all marketing materials
  • Coordinate project photography and maintain image library
  • Compile materials for award submissions and assist with conference and presentation preparation
  • Organize and manage marketing files, templates, and project information
  • Coordinates and participates in training and professional development as it relates to duties and responsibilities
  • Prepares and attends trade shows and community fairs and staffs the company booth as a representative of A&E + SMA Design
  • Demonstrates knowledge of A&E + SMA's range of services, market sectors, qualifications, and experience
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of firm data across platforms
  • Performs other duties as assigned
