As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the goals and objectives of the company.

Requirements

  • Must have own hand tools and toolbox.
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Must have the ability to operate, disassemble, and assemble industrial equipment/ machinery independently or to supervise a lower-level employee in the correct company procedure for the repairs being made.
  • Responsible for completing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance inspections in Intelex.
  • Responsible for completing maintenance requests in Intelex in a timely manner.
  • Ability to use specialized tools for repairing, measuring, testing, and diagnosing industrial equipment/machinery.
  • Able to design and fabricate process piping, catwalks, staircases, equipment stands/supports and correctly estimate how much material will be needed for the job.
  • Advanced knowledge of procedures to MIG and ARC weld stainless and mild steel.
  • Advanced knowledge of pipe fitting procedures.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of plant processes and equipment.
  • Must be proficient in using all of the company equipment such as boom lifts, scissors lifts, welding trailers, water trailer, forklifts, and golf carts.
  • Advanced knowledge of the NEC and OSHA regulations on industrial construction and repair.
  • This position inspects, promotes, and maintains adherence to food safety cleanliness in the handling of product, ingredients and finished goods using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety and Quality Standards as defined by the FDA, SQF, HACCP and GMP Programs.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.
