About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their Honolulu office. This role focuses on crafting winning proposals and supporting the local and Pacific Rim marketing and business development strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships and writing proposals, with a thorough understanding of the Hawaii and Pacific Rim A/E/C marketplace. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, persuasive writing, and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Work with marketing, engineers, various departments, and subconsultants to gather intel, assess prospective clients’ needs, and evaluate the competitive environment.
• Leverage client network to identify opportunities and position Coffman Engineers on suitable teams for projects.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to target specific clients, market sectors, and geographic regions throughout Hawaii and the Asia-Pacific.
• Write proposals, which can range from single pages to 30 pages, in response to requests for proposals or qualifications.
• Assist with internal and external messaging through press releases and award preparation.
• Support local and corporate marketing and business development initiatives.
• Manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and details with a focus on accuracy and organization.
• Demonstrate an eye for graphic design, strategic thinking, collaboration, and a passion for learning new concepts.
