About The Position

Foundation is hiring its first marketer to accelerate its core business, modernize homebuilding, and transform the experience of buying, selling, and owning homes. Foundation, backed by ~$6.8M in funding from leading VCs, is an ex-Opendoor team transforming residential real estate. Their first product is the customer experience platform for homebuilders, described as “Shopify for Homebuilders.” They work with enterprise-scale homebuilders to deliver a modern digital customer experience, improving customer happiness and team productivity. The company has demonstrated product-market fit and rapid growth with zero professional marketing. Foundation is in the first of three phases of growth: Transformative, AI-driven vertical SaaS for homebuilding, an enterprise ecosystem for real estate, and an AI-native home operating system and interface. The Marketing Lead will play a central role in driving Foundation’s next stages of growth, working at the intersection of AI, marketing, and real estate transformation.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience as a marketer at high-growth, venture-backed technology companies.
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical; think big but love to get hands-on.
  • Enjoy getting to know new customers and new markets.
  • Comfortable turning to AI from Day 1 and preferring to hire AI agents over humans (initially).
  • Comfortable as a generalist, even with specialties, to build a 0-to-1 marketing program for a huge enterprise vertical (homebuilding) on the fly.
  • Experience with outbound, product and content marketing, and fueling enterprise sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly accelerate the growth of Foundation's core product line: the AI-native stack for the homebuilding industry, including whitepapers, testimonials, product marketing, outbound, and OOH.
  • Tell the story of how Foundation is redefining homebuilding.
  • Transform how homebuilders market and sell homes by leveraging Foundation’s products, playbooks, and expertise.
  • Seed the network by helping to define, launch, and scale ecosystem products, expanding beyond homebuilding into adjacent industries.
  • Be a partner in discovering, shaping, and growing the native AI for homeowners, covering areas like home finance, home services, and home automation.
  • Play a hands-on role in shaping products, acting as an active voice in the product, design, and engineering process.
