About The Position

Piedmont Global is seeking a Marketing Lead who thinks like a builder to oversee the entire demand generation process. This role involves ICP-specific content creation, measurement, and iteration. The Marketing Lead will own content programs including the newsletter, webinar series, and executives' public voice. A key responsibility will be enhancing the presence of a subsidiary brand serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, including website improvements, social media presence, and brand voice definition. This role is supported by a dedicated accessibility intelligence resource. The position requires working with diverse audiences and collaborating with sales, solution leads, and subject matter experts across various solution pillars. The Marketing Lead will ensure marketing is not a bottleneck, especially with proprietary SaaS products launching.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally B2B in SaaS, professional services, or another complex or regulated industry.
  • Track record of owning channels or programs end-to-end.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through a strong portfolio of content and campaign work.
  • Experience building at least one brand or channel from scratch (e.g., social presence, blog program, newsletter, event series).
  • Comfort marketing something buyers don’t have a name for yet.
  • Respect for the communities served and discipline to check assumptions against subject matter experts.
  • Clear, direct communication skills.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to ask for what is needed and push back respectfully when disagreeing.
  • Strong interviewing skills: ability to extract point of view, examples, and quotable lines from executives.
  • Systems mindset: ability to see multiple content opportunities from a single recorded conversation.
  • Strong writing skills with a firm understanding of SEO and AEO.
  • Ability to create diverse content types (case study, LinkedIn post, customer email) reflecting brand and best practices.
  • Understanding of how to craft content for senior stakeholders and influence purchasing decisions.
  • Experience using AI in marketing work (e.g., Claude, HubSpot AI, Clay).
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Understanding of analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot reporting).
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ClickUp, HubSpot, and LinkedIn for marketing.
  • Experience with accessibility and language access marketing.
  • Experience marketing to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
  • Familiarity with Section 1557, ADA, IEP meetings, and other relevant regulations.
  • Experience with proprietary SaaS products.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the cross-channel editorial calendar in ClickUp.
  • Plan content themes quarterly, tied to solution pillars, industry verticals, product launches, policy moments, and community advocacy events.
  • Produce blog content, white papers, case studies, and social posts, including customer stories.
  • Build repeatable repurposing workflows so one webinar becomes a blog post, four LinkedIn posts, a newsletter feature, and a sales one-pager.
  • Make content accessible by default: captioned video, ASL interpretation where appropriate, and plain-language summaries.
  • Track content performance data and use it to reshape the calendar.
  • Own newsletter strategy, production schedule, and distribution via HubSpot and LinkedIn.
  • Curate a mix of original content, repurposed assets, and industry commentary with help from in-house subject matter experts.
  • Plan and produce webinars and LinkedIn Lives from concept through post-event repurposing.
  • Coordinate with speakers, partners, and internal teams on prep, promotion, and production, and run day-of production.
  • Monitor newsletter open, click, and webinar attendance data and use it to shape future content.
  • Partner with executives on their LinkedIn content strategies and posting cadence by conducting regular interviews and briefings, then drafting posts, articles, and commentary in their voice.
  • Carry the company's strategic globalization argument into interviews, contributed articles, and executive posts.
  • Source and pitch external opportunities: podcast interviews, contributed articles, and pull quotes in research studies.
  • Own the press release pipeline: announcements, launches, certifications, awards, and partnerships.
  • Build a lightweight, sustainable process for executive thought leadership and earned media.
  • Build and maintain HubSpot nurture sequences tied to content downloads, webinar registrations, and high-intent page visits.
  • Work with RevOps to configure engagement scoring for sales.
  • Run customer marketing programs: upsell sequences, cross-sell campaigns, retention touches, and win-back flows.
  • Develop case studies that show how the company solves problems for schools, hospitals, courts, and employers.
  • Partner with sales to keep messaging tight, current, and aligned with field performance.
  • Define and document brand voice, visual direction, and messaging architecture for acquired brands.
  • Audit websites, social profiles, and existing collateral for acquired brands, and implement fixes.
  • Develop positioning that reflects how Deaf and Hard of Hearing people want to be talked to and about.
  • Apply the brand building playbook to future acquired brands.
  • Identify speaking, sponsorship, and advocacy opportunities that match the brand and audience.
  • Build relationships with Deaf-led organizations and community partners.
  • Represent the company in a way that earns trust in relevant communities and events.
