About The Position

Kids in the Game is seeking a Marketing Intern to support their Marketing, Development, and Customer Experience teams. This role reports to the Marketing Coordinator and involves public, private, and internal communication. The intern will cultivate positive relationships through marketing strategies and customer service. The internship is typically 14-18 weeks long, with expected hours between 25-35 per week, in person at their office location. Specific internship periods are Fall 2026 (September 8th - December 18th), Spring 2027 (January 11th - May 21st), and Summer 2027 (May 24th - August 27th). First-term internships are unpaid with a completion bonus of $200-$300, with potential for a paid second term. Class credit may also be offered.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective customers and partners via phone calls, emails and scheduled events.
  • Create and manage email blasts and assets for communications with families and other customers.
  • Produce reports, analyze, and present findings on the status of ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research via surveys, interviews, focus groups, on-site observation, and analyze reports.
  • Connect with the Kids in the Game team internally to ensure all stakeholders have necessary relevant information.
