About The Position

Kids in the Game is seeking a Marketing Intern to support the Marketing, Development, and Customer Experience teams. This role reports directly to the Marketing Coordinator and involves public interaction with the community, private interaction with customers, and internal collaboration with the Kids in the Game team. The intern will focus on cultivating positive relationships through marketing strategies and excellent customer service. Key functions include engaging with prospective customers and partners, creating and managing email blasts, producing reports on marketing campaigns, conducting market research, and ensuring internal stakeholders have relevant information. This internship is ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with people, enjoys problem-solving, is intrigued by technology, has an eye for photography and design, and understands the importance of behind-the-scenes work. Kids in the Game offers seasonal internships typically lasting 14-18 weeks, with interns expected to work 25-35 hours per week in person at their office location. Internship periods include Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027. The internships are unpaid for the first term, with a completion bonus of $200-$300. Potential opportunities for a second term, paid internship, and class credit may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective customers and partners via phone calls, emails and scheduled events.
  • Create and manage email blasts and assets for communications with families and other customers.
  • Produce reports, analyze, and present findings on the status of ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research via surveys, interviews, focus groups, on-site observation, and analyze reports.
  • Connect with the Kids in the Game team internally to ensure all stakeholders have necessary relevant information.
