This internship offers real leadership experience, focusing on building leadership skills, coaching children, and gaining hands-on experience in business, marketing, operations, and sports management. Interns will lead projects, coach children, organize events, market programs, recruit coaches, and learn how a growing business operates, making a measurable impact on families in the Richmond community. The program provides opportunities to learn about sports management, leadership, business operations, marketing & communications, community partnerships, event planning, coach recruitment, customer service, youth development, public speaking, team leadership, and time management. Approximately 50% of the internship involves coaching Soccer Shots sessions, with the remaining time dedicated to coordinating schedules, running events, creating social media content, visiting partner schools, assisting with marketing campaigns, recruiting coaches, supporting operations, executing special events, and working on business projects with the leadership team.
