Marketing & Event Sales Support Coordinator

Rusty Rail Brewing•Mifflinburg, PA
•Onsite

About The Position

Rusty Rail Brewing Company / Iron & Ivy is seeking an on-site, full-time coordinator to manage the day-to-day social presence for Rusty Rail Brewpub, Rusty Rail Events, and Iron & Ivy while responding to event inquiries and guiding prospective customers to qualified appointments and confirmed handoffs. Lead response takes precedence over routine posting, design work, and administrative tasks. The company maintains 24/7 initial-response coverage through approved automation and backup arrangements; personal response duties and after-hours coverage are coordinated with management. During staffed hours, the goal is a personal reply within 30 minutes whenever practical. The coordinator monitors event inquiries from social media, web forms, email, and other assigned channels; gathers event details; schedules consultations and venue walkthroughs; and maintains accurate lead status and follow-up records until the inquiry is declined, resolved, or explicitly accepted by a named department. The role also plans, creates, schedules, and publishes social content, captures on-site material, responds to comments and messages, and coordinates with departments to promote activity across the property. Additional work includes assisting with menu layouts and revisions, event flyers, basic website and content updates, promotional graphics, and other marketing projects. The position calls for an organized, self-directed, dependable, creative, and collaborative person who communicates professionally and follows through. Once a receiving department accepts a lead, that department owns pricing, proposals, contracts, and closing. This is an on-site, collaborative position with management-approved work hours and lead-coverage procedures.

  • Creativity, polished design instincts, and the judgment to know when approval is needed.
  • Ability to collaborate with restaurant, brewery, events, and Iron & Ivy teams.
  • Comfort with Meta Business Suite, Canva, and basic photo/video editing.
  • Ability to work on-site with management-approved work hours and lead-coverage procedures.

  • Experience with hospitality, events, customer service, CRM tools, or sales support.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor designated event inquiries from social media, web forms, email, and other assigned channels, and respond promptly, warmly, and accurately.

  • Manage the social accounts for Rusty Rail Brewpub, Rusty Rail Events, and Iron & Ivy.
  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish posts, stories, Reels, photos, and promotional content.
  • Capture authentic on-site content, respond to comments and messages, maintain consistent brand voices, and coordinate with departments to promote activity across the property.
  • Maintain a practical content calendar, accurate event details, and a steady posting cadence while prioritizing incoming sales inquiries over routine social tasks.
  • Assist with menu layouts and revisions, event flyers, basic website and content updates, promotional graphics, and other marketing projects.
  • Identify opportunities, help other departments when available, and complete work accurately without constant direction.
  • Provide a weekly report covering inquiries, response times, appointments, open follow-ups, confirmed transfers, and published content.
