About The Position

Our client is a personal injury firm representing real people with real problems: car wrecks, trucking collisions, workplace injuries, wrongful death claims. Their growth has been built on results and on the reputation of the attorneys who deliver them. They're looking for a Marketing Director who can take that foundation and build something lasting — a recognizable brand, a connected community presence, and a marketing operation that runs with precision. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and relationship-building. You'll work directly under the direction of the lead attorney to shape and protect the firm's brand across every channel and touchpoint. You won't be cold-calling strangers or blasting inboxes. You'll be building the kind of genuine connections that make people think of our client first when someone they know gets hurt.

Requirements

  • A strong technical marketing foundation — SEO, social media platforms, digital advertising, content strategy, and basic analytics
  • Demonstrated project management ability; you can run multiple initiatives simultaneously and keep every one of them moving
  • Experience managing a small team or coordinating across vendors and contractors
  • Event coordination experience, from planning through execution
  • A natural connector's instincts; you build relationships through genuine interest and follow-through, not scripts and cold outreach
  • Experience in personal brand development, ideally for a professional, executive, or public-facing individual
  • Clear, direct communication skills; you'll work closely with firm leadership and need to earn that trust quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in legal, healthcare, or another trust-driven industry is a meaningful advantage

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing the firm's marketing strategy
  • Managing and mentoring an in-house social media team, ensuring content is consistent, on-brand, and strategically driven
  • Overseeing the firm's relationship manager, coordinating outreach efforts that are warm, community-focused, and authentically aligned with the firm's values
  • Planning and coordinating events, including vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and day-of logistics
  • Managing vendor and agency relationships across design, media, video production, and any other external partners
  • Keeping campaigns and projects on track using solid project management practices — deadlines, budgets, and deliverables don't slip on your watch
  • Tracking performance across channels and reporting results clearly and regularly to firm leadership
  • Maintaining brand consistency across digital, print, and in-person presence throughout North Alabama

Benefits

  • Competitive pay
  • Paid time off
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Supportive team environment
