About The Position

The Consumer Marketing Director will be a critical driver of the VYNDAMAX (tafamidis) strategy, responsible for accelerating patient engagement, activation, and retention across the VYNDAMAX journey. This role will advance VYNDAMAX growth through three strategic levers: activating patients and caregivers through a coordinated ecosystem of programs, ambassadors, and experiences; expanding the ATTR-CM category through earlier diagnosis and disease education; and translating competitive and performance insights into strategic actions that strengthen engagement, inform investment decisions, and sustain category leadership. VYNDAMAX is one of Pfizer's largest and most strategically significant U.S. brands, representing a ~$4B U.S. commercial business and serving as the anchor brand within Specialty Care. Its landmark launch in transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) established Pfizer as the leader in ATTR-CM. Midway through its lifecycle, the brand has entered an intense and pivotal competitive period, facing up to four competitive entrants within an 18-month window. Positioning VYNDAMAX for continued category leadership is therefore critical to Pfizer, and sustained performance will demand rigorous strategic planning, flawless operational execution, and disciplined investment management.
