About The Position

The Content Creator is an execution-focused role responsible for capturing, producing, editing, and organizing high-quality visual content that supports Hays Electrical Services’ marketing, communications, and brand initiatives. This position plays a critical role in documenting company projects, people, internal and external events, and company culture through professional photo and video assets used across digital platforms, internal communications, and external marketing channels. This role is hands-on and production-driven, with a strong emphasis on on-site capture, short-form content creation, asset management, and creative support. While the Content Creator does not own strategy, they are essential in bringing marketing initiatives to life through disciplined execution, reliability, and consistent adherence to brand and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Experience managing social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
  • Basic experience with website updates or content management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency across deliverables
  • Clear and professional communicator, able to collaborate across departments and levels of leadership
  • Adaptable and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
  • Able to execute with speed while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, engineering, or a related industry
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
  • Experience with SharePoint, OneDrive, or digital asset management systems
  • Understanding of basic SEO principles and website content optimization
  • Exposure to marketing analytics tools and performance tracking

Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and schedule LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and internal communications under brand standards.
  • Update the company website with project photos, portfolio updates, and sector tagging for SEO optimization.
  • Support design and collateral production through Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms.
  • Maintain and organize SharePoint/OneDrive marketing folders, photo libraries, and digital asset systems.
  • Manage marketing request forms and SOP workflows, ensuring timely tracking and execution.
  • Provide administrative support for high-priority marketing and executive projects.
  • Monitor and track LinkedIn engagement metrics, website analytics, and other KPIs.
  • Research and propose content opportunities aligned with Hays’ brand, partnerships, and industry presence.
  • Support consistent social media posting cadence and performance reporting.
  • Assist with distributing company newsletters, announcements, and branded internal campaigns.
  • Support recognition initiatives such as Culture Corner and Safety Blitz.
  • Ensure all internal deliverables meet brand standards and reinforce company culture.
