About The Position

Join our innovative non-profit dedicated to advancing racial and economic justice while tackling climate change. We are seeking an organized, skilled, and motivated Marketing Coordinator to provide project and logistical support for our Communications Team. This role is integral to ensuring resources developed for our municipal and community partners are rolled out effectively, directly supporting their ability to expand reach and ensure residents and small businesses benefit from energy efficiency programs. The position is part-time, 90% remote with 10% in-person work in Massachusetts.

Requirements

  • Comfort using Google Workplace applications (i.e. Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail).
  • Experience using Canva.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and maintain clear organizational systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, learn quickly and creatively problem solve.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently and as a part of a small, nimble team.
  • Successful completion of a background check and 4-panel drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with coordinating material reviews.
  • Comfort communicating in writing with external vendors or partners.
  • Experience integrating brand requirements into materials.
  • Comfort with project management tools, such as Asana and Gantt charts or similar.
  • Experience using graphic design softwares, like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with Mass Save programs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized, accurate tracking systems for projects and materials created, including keeping status updated and organizing marketing requests.
  • Initiate intake, identify action items, and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor the progress of projects and materials from intake through completion.
  • Coordinate the review and approval of marketing materials by internal and external partners.
  • Share community and vendor-created marketing materials with necessary reviewers.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and reviewers.
  • Trigger translation requests for timely delivery.
  • Manage the organization and process of duplicating templated materials.
  • Gather required content for templated materials.
  • Update content based on requests and adjust materials for events and outreach.
  • Support the logistics for mailers and ordering of materials.
  • Gather necessary information from partners for mailers.
  • Collect and integrate feedback for mailers.
  • Coordinate signatures and approvals for mailers.
  • Manage logistics with external vendors for mailers.
  • Support the Communications Team with miscellaneous projects as needed.
