About The Position

Carlile Transportation is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support content creation, digital marketing execution, and on-site event marketing across Alaska operations. This role works closely with the Marketing Manager to execute campaigns and bring marketing initiatives to life through content development, social media management, photography/videography, and field marketing support. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, collaborative, and comfortable balancing both creative and operational responsibilities. Based in Anchorage, this position plays an important role in helping capture and share authentic stories from the field, terminals, warehouses, job sites, and community events across Alaska.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of marketing, communications, or content creation experience
  • Strong writing and editing skills across short- and long-form content
  • Experience capturing and editing basic photo and video content
  • Familiarity with social media management and digital marketing tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Alaska

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred
  • Experience with platforms such as Sprout Social, Constant Contact, WordPress, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create written, photo, and video content for social media platforms
  • Draft and edit marketing emails, blog posts, website copy, and digital communications
  • Update print and digital marketing materials, including flyers, signage, sell sheets, and presentations
  • Assist with website updates, content uploads, and basic page maintenance
  • Coordinate content publishing schedules and maintain consistent posting cadence
  • Prepare and maintain branded marketing assets and event materials for internal teams and external vendors
  • Schedule and manage social media content across platforms
  • Monitor engagement and assist with community management
  • Track social media, email, and campaign performance metrics
  • Organize and report marketing analytics to support strategic decision-making
  • Travel to Alaska locations and events to support marketing initiatives and capture content
  • Serve as the on-site marketing representative for regional events
  • Coordinate booth setup, branded materials, swag, and marketing activation elements at events
  • Support on-site event execution alongside sales and operations teams
  • Capture event photography, video, interviews, and live social media coverage
  • Assist with event teardown and coordination of material return or storage
  • Produce post-event recap content and organize event assets
  • Coordinate swag orders, collateral production, shipping, and inventory tracking
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and internal teams to support tactical marketing execution
  • Manage delivery of logo files, marketing assets, and digital materials to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain organized marketing files, templates, and asset libraries
  • Support transition and coordination of marketing materials from external agency partners as needed
