About The Position

This role contributes to the overall success of the office by adhering to firm and project goals. The Marketing Coordinator works with the corporate graphics team to maintain a standard of graphic design excellence across all efforts. They prepare and coordinate proposals, qualifications, packages, and presentations for prospective clients, and are responsible for scheduling and tracking the production of these materials to meet deadlines, while also assisting in production efforts. The position involves participating in cross-disciplinary meetings to align ideas, production, and timelines. The Marketing Coordinator will draft, edit, organize, and proof various marketing collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, resumes, award submittals, brochures, media relations pieces, and interview content, ensuring it is comprehensive, competitive, client-specific, and adheres to brand standards. They will research clients, market trends, and background information to understand the local competitive landscape and will manage social media accounts and website content updates. Additionally, this role manages project and client data in firmwide databases and participates in coordinating events, public relations efforts, advertisements, materials for trade shows, content for speaking engagements, direct mail campaigns, and award submittals. The role also involves beginning to understand the strategy behind collateral content, supporting firmwide initiatives, maintaining open and clear communication, using storytelling to enhance marketing strategy, and employing a creative approach to tasks. The Marketing Coordinator will self-check work for accuracy, omissions, and legibility, proactively ask questions, and express curiosity about the industry, while also assisting with coordination among teams, potential clients, and consultants.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of marketing experience in the architecture and design industry.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Understanding digital and production delivery.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Open Asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • SMPS certification desired.
  • LEED GA certification preferred.
