Requirements

  • Creative self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
  • Must have post-Secondary Education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in tourism, hospitality, or events
  • Experience in photograph and graphic design.
  • Must be proficient in: Microsoft Office, Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Canva, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or print production is an asset
  • Hospitality/Tourism Industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute annual marketing plans
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure alignment on campaigns and goals
  • Oversee campaign execution across digital, print, and event channels
  • Create and schedule engaging content for multiple social media channels (including LinkedIn for B2B-facing properties like Catering and Conferences)
  • Capture and edit photography and video content for use in digital campaigns and promotions
  • Deploy email campaigns and newsletters
  • Support trade shows and promotional activations as needed
  • Coordinate digital and print advertising efforts
  • Support day-to-day admin functions such as formatting, data entry, and marketing coordination
  • Stay informed on local events, tourism trends, and promotional opportunities
