About The Position

Etna Interactive, a remote-first marketing agency, is seeking a remote Marketing Coordinator. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of related professional experience or educational background. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, motivated to continuously expand their skills. Coordinators support client success by updating business listings, researching backlink opportunities, building and managing email campaigns, and compiling performance data. This position offers the chance to build a strong foundation in digital marketing and develop skills for greater strategic responsibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience or educational background.
  • Must live in California, Colorado, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, or Washington.
  • Knowledge and experience using Windows Operating System, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel (or be a proactive fast learner).
  • Knowledge of resources including common web browsers, web sites such as Google Analytics, and LLMs.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Kind personality and ability to fit in with the team.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in marketing is great, but relevant work experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Execute digital marketing initiatives across channels including local search, content, email, SEO, reputation management, and more.
  • Maintain business listings, citations, and online profiles to improve accuracy and visibility.
  • Support outreach, backlink acquisition, and reporting efforts that help clients grow their online presence.
  • Gain hands-on experience across multiple digital marketing disciplines while building foundational expertise.
  • Collaborate with teammates across specialties to support coordinated client strategies and campaign execution.
  • Research competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and support client success.
  • Ask questions, seek feedback, and leverage AI tools to expand your knowledge and improve efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and marketing execution.
  • Develop subject matter expertise, take ownership of your growth, and create opportunities for career advancement.
