About The Position

Big-D Companies is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support corporate marketing and communications across the Big-D family of companies. This role is responsible for fielding marketing requests, coordinating design work, and creating content that highlights our people, projects, and expertise. You’ll work closely with teams across the company and external partners to keep projects organized, moving forward, and delivered at a high standard. This is a hands-on role with a clear focus: keeping work organized, producing strong content, and delivering high-quality marketing materials. This role is a mix of content development, design coordination, and project coordination. You’ll spend time writing and developing communications, coordinating creative work, and helping keep marketing projects moving in partnership with external vendors. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys both creating and organizing and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing requests and project flow
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal marketing requests. Gather details, clarify needs, and develop clear creative briefs. Coordinate timelines, track projects from kickoff through completion, and partner with external design vendors to produce materials.
  • Coordinate design and support production
  • Work with internal and external partners to develop presentations, brochures, signage, and campaign assets. Manage revisions, review deliverables, and maintain brand consistency. Handle quick turn updates to existing materials, including basic edits in tools like InDesign, Illustrator, or Adobe Express.to develop presentations, brochures, signage, and campaign assets.   • Write and develop content
  • Create press releases, blog posts, newsletter articles, and internal announcements. Identify and develop stories by interviewing team members across the organization to highlight projects, people, and thought leadership.
  • Support PR and thought leadership efforts
  • Partner with internal teams and external PR resources to support media outreach, article development, and coverage tracking.
  • Support events and marketing initiatives
  • Assist with planning and execution of company events, including coordinating materials, communications, invitations, and on-site setup/support as needed.
  • Coordinate branded materials and assets
  • Manage requests for branded items and marketing materials, including working with vendors and maintaining organization of marketing assets.
