Marketing Coordinator Part Time
About The Position
The Marketing Coordinator provides graphic design and written content for advertising pieces for the retail branch where they are employed. Because mortgage-loan marketing is subject to regulatory scrutiny and carries franchise risk, the marketing function is directly supervised by the Compliance Department. The position creates and modifies advertising that complies with company policy and federal and state law, and supports branch marketing and compliance-related design needs. The ideal candidate is proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator and can identify unfair or deceptive acts and practices. The role works with branch personnel and other constituents in a fast-paced, customer-service-driven environment. Work products include flyers, mailers, marketing and compliance materials, and CRM emails. The position may require occasional overtime and travel, and may include additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Capability to detect unfair and deceptive acts and practices.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify designs and graphics for advertising in compliance with internal company policy and federal and state law.
- Receive and respond to branch personnel requests for advertising pieces.
- Communicate and build working relationships with staff members, external candidates, and vendors, including culturally and linguistically diverse constituents.
- Create professional design and art solutions for flyers, mailers, marketing materials, compliance materials, CRM emails, and other materials as needed.
- Perform periodic edits, validations, comparisons, and analysis of advertising samples.
- Work with branch employees to support branch marketing efforts and design-related aspects of compliance.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Travel occasionally and work overtime if required.
