About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator internship is a full-time, 12-week summer 2027 program based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Interns join teams across Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Horizon Air to contribute to visible projects supporting the business, community, and cultural growth. The internship offers hands-on experience in an innovative, collaborative environment, along with opportunities to network with employees and company leaders through intern events and programming. Candidates who are not already in Honolulu must relocate for the internship. The internship is intended to provide skill development and work experience and does not guarantee future employment.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree focused on Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related area.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Have achieved junior or higher academic standing at the time of application.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously across various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify trends, analyze competitors, and understand target audiences.
• Draft or assist in creating marketing materials, including brochures, social media posts, blog content, emails, and website updates.
• Help manage and update social media platforms, monitor trends and feedback, and contribute to social media campaigns.
• Assist with planning and hosting marketing events, promotional activities, and trade shows.
