About The Position

The Marketing/ Community Liaison acts as a liaison between the Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs. The role includes developing and promoting home health programs and services while maintaining quality healthcare standards and maximizing human, financial, and equipment resources.

The position works in a variety of facilities and offices, requires local travel, and may involve a flexible schedule and exposure to unpleasant weather. Prolonged sitting is required. The role also involves handling stressful situations calmly and courteously and working under pressure to meet deadlines and Agency needs.

Requirements

• Experience in the healthcare field.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, the lay and professional public, the Board of Directors, the Advisory Board, and the Medical Director.
• Ability to travel locally.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously and work under stressful conditions to meet deadlines and Agency needs.
• Prolonged sitting is required.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Agency regarding community needs and program development, including personnel and financial needs.
• Collaboratively develop and maintain policies specific to new programs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws relating to Agency marketing.
• Assist in directing programs by collaborating with and delegating responsibilities to administrative and supervisory personnel.
• Establish a public relations program to explain the Agency’s services and foster good working relationships with physicians and community agencies.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
