About The Position

Boingo is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to lead the development of high-quality responses to RFIs, RFPs, and proposals. This role requires exceptional writing skills, strong project management, excellent cross-functional skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into persuasive, customer-focused content. The specialist will collaborate across teams to gather information, craft compelling narratives, and deliver polished proposals on time, directly influencing major deals and revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience managing RFPs, proposals, and pitch decks.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft persuasive, customer-focused content.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with proposal management tools (Loopio preferred).
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • APMP certification.
  • Experience in wireless technology, telecommunications, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with public sector and private sector procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic approach for each RFP / RFI response, leveraging AI tools to increase efficiencies, enhance content, and align RFP / proposals responses to scoring metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align proposal strategy with business objectives.
  • Conduct competitor research and analyze FOIA responses to inform positioning.
  • Write and edit proposal content in Boingo’s brand voice, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and impact.
  • Demonstrate proficiency using AI tools to organize, develop, and complete projects.
  • Manage proposal logistics, including timelines, deliverables, and vendor coordination.
  • Gather technical, financial, and operational details from cross-functional teams to build comprehensive responses.
  • Maintain and update proposal templates and content libraries for efficiency.
  • Partner with Business Development, Sales, Product, Solution Design, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Creative Services to collect inputs and approvals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for proposal-related inquiries and updates.
  • Deliver exceptional internal customer service to ensure smooth collaboration and timely submissions.
  • Track and report on proposal KPIs, including win rates and response times.
  • Maintain records of submitted proposals and outcomes for continuous improvement.
