About The Position

The Marketing & Communication Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the marketing and communication team, including marketing and promotional efforts to elevate the Network’s brand identity and contribute to increasing market share. This role involves managing departmental staff, overseeing performance, fostering a culture of accountability, and developing action plans to support strategic goals. The manager will also be responsible for budget management, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing the production of internal and external deliverables. Key duties include content development (digital and print), website management, digital marketing strategy execution, social media oversight, and coordinating multimedia production. The role also supports executive presentations and manages collateral materials for various programs. Performance measurement through ROI and KPI reporting is a critical aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • Possesses specific advanced knowledge and skills, including written and verbal communication skills, computational, computer, and technical skills, and mathematical knowledge frequently acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, preferred or comparable work experience; and A combination of relevant experience and completion of a high school diploma with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, or General Educational Development (GED) with a minimum overall score of 162.5, and healthcare-related knowledge frequently acquired through completion of a trade school, para-professional, or certificate-type program.
  • If an individual has completed a degree at a higher level than required by the role and had a stronger GPA in that program, they may provide proof of GPA from that degree in lieu of the high school diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four years of leadership experience or 5 years of progressively greater responsibility or significant contributions to projects and initiatives that demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Three years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM software.
  • Three years of experience managing media agreements to include TV, OTT, Print Media, Radio, and Digital solutions.
  • Have a minimum credit score of 650.
  • Ability to create highly complex documents in Microsoft Word, including linking multiple files and embedding objects linked to other documents.
  • Advanced writing and copywriting skills required.
  • Ability to use advanced functions of Microsoft Excel to analyze data, including formulas, functions, lookup tables, and other standard spreadsheet elements to create and manage databases, including creating standardized reports or linking multiple worksheets and workbooks.
  • Ability to develop sophisticated presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, including the use of embedded objects, transitions, and other elements.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to capture and report on Google Analytics and all social media platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, multiple social media scheduling platforms, and task scheduling platform.
  • Valid CA driver’s license.
  • Job duties require compiling and analyzing information prepared in effective written form, including correspondence, reports, articles, or other documentation.
  • Duties require preparation and execution of presentations to large groups.
  • Job duties require the ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, employees' opinions and extrapolations of information they collect and synthesize/analyze.
  • Compiles, analyzes and prepares information/analytics in an effective written form, including correspondence, reports, articles, or other documentation.
  • Effectively conveys technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • The employee is regularly required to sit and use repetitive hand movements to type and grasp.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand or walk.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds.
  • Dependent upon assignment, the employee may be required to travel across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provides Management to departmental staff.
  • Responsible for performance management of assigned staff, including recognition, performance evaluations, formal coaching and counseling, and making decisions or recommendations regarding necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for making recommendations regarding hiring or firing, and the advancement and promotion of assigned supervisors, and those supervisors' assigned staff, or any other change status of assigned supervisors, and those supervisors' assigned staff.

  • Ensures the department maintains compliance with all employee-related reporting and tracking.
  • Responsible for assignment workflows for the Marketing and Communications team to ensure the production of internal and external deliverables.
  • Ensures task deadlines are met related to all deliverables.
  • Ensures production and content aligns with FHCN’s business goals.
  • Responsible for the development of creative content, including digital and print design, copy content, layout, and collateral materials such as printing and distributing FHCN brochures, flyers, press kits, annual reports, newsletters, and social media materials.
  • Ensures all content and copywritten material is correct and up to date.
  • Ensures marketing branding guidelines, including templates, logos, etc., are followed and reviewed.
  • Manages plans to improve online content and business listing management, considering SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Manages publishing content to the company website, digital, and social media platforms.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the FHCN website content and aesthetics to align with optimal patient experience and brand guidelines.
  • Completes quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy of the website.
  • Ensures the division maintains compliance with all ADA requirements and policies.
  • Maintains ADA website compliance and completes the semi-annual compliance review.
  • Manages digital marketing platforms and execution of strategies.
  • Assists the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations in building a digital marketing plan and implementing the overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Conducts research and reporting on market share, competitors, Reputation Management, Google Business Analytics, social media, and other internal or external advertising forms.
  • Acts as a liaison to digital marketing vendors.
  • Responsible for research related to AI marketing trends, platforms, and best practices to ensure FHCN content and reach are relevant and competitive.
  • Oversees all the company's social media accounts.
  • Responsible for executing the approved marketing and communications plan and proposing communication campaigns.
  • Coordinates multi-media packages and presents ideas to the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.
  • Ensures content and copywritten materials are complete.
  • Supports presentation management for Executive Leadership for special events, meetings, etc., including PowerPoint presentation development.
  • Supports the development of briefs and talking points for key presentations.
  • Responsible for coordinating the Network's photography, video production, and content.
  • Drafts and propose plans for video production, including commercial content.
  • Ensure photo and video shoots are organized and optimized throughout the entire process.
  • Responsible for the development of all collateral materials and communications for all service lines and programs, including The Book Nook and PACE.
  • Oversees marketing team that develops all The Book Nook graphics and communications.
  • Oversees The Book Nook website and content, working in concert with The Book Nook store leadership.
  • Oversees The Book Nook and PACE social media platform and scheduling.
  • Oversees content creation for The Book Nook and PACE’s social media posts and communications.
  • Completes reports to measure ROI and KPIs on multiple/all digital platforms.
  • Responsible for preparing digital marketing activity reports monthly and quarterly.
  • Monitors patient web correspondence and deploys ARMS reports as appropriate.
  • Supports the development of reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.
  • Responsible for adhering to the Attendance and Absenteeism Policy, recognizing that regular attendance is considered an essential function of all FHCN positions.
  • Ability to present to and work at any FHCN location, both at the beginning of a shift or during a shift, based on business need.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
