At CityKidz, marketing and communications are about invitation, telling the story of hope, resilience, and generosity in ways that honour children, families, and the supporters who walk alongside them. We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to steward CityKidz’ storytelling and supporter-facing communications as part of our Resource Development team. If you are a thoughtful communicator, a strong coordinator, and someone who cares deeply about meaning, clarity, and integrity in storytelling, this role may be for you. CityKidz is a faith-based, Christian organization that exists to build resilience and inspire big dreams in children and youth living in low-income communities. Our programs are grounded in love, hope, and a belief in the inherent value and potential of every child. While our motivation is rooted in the Christian faith, our programs and partnerships are welcoming and inclusive, serving children, families, and communities of all backgrounds. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is a key coordinator of CityKidz’ marketing and communications function, supporting the alignment and execution of supporter-facing campaigns and communications. You will support the clear, consistent, and thoughtful communication of our mission, impact, and opportunities for generosity. You’ll collaborate with the Executive Director and work closely with the Resource Development Administrator on campaign direction and messaging. This role is about coordination, stewardship, and alignment, not being a one-person creative studio. At the same time, you’re comfortable working directly in design and marketing platforms to make adjustments, refine content, and support execution when needed. You will work closely with internal teams and external creative partners, supporting storytelling, coordinating timelines, and helping ensure our communications reflect who we are and what we stand for. This role is designed to grow in responsibility over time as the Marketing & Communications function continues to develop. You will be part of a Resource Development team that views fundraising as a ministry of invitation, rooted in authentic relationships and faithful stewardship.
