The position involves developing informational programs, preparing publications, creating content for print, web, and social media, and studying organizational objectives to develop public relations strategies. Additionally, the specialist will establish cooperative relationships with various groups, identify trends, provide website strategy and content updates, write press releases, coordinate special events, and arrange public appearances. Miscellaneous job-related duties, training, and professional development are also part of the role.
